CABPS Magazine

Dear Member,
It is with great pleasure to announce that the Canadian Association of Bariatric Physicians and Surgeons (CABPS) has partnered with Provincial Media Group Inc., headquartered in Winnipeg, to publish a quarterly magazine on obesity. The magazine entitled “Healthy Weight: The Publication of the Canadian Association of Bariatric Physicians and Surgeons” will be distributed free of charge to physicians, allied health professionals, government agencies and other related groups in our field with a heavy focus on the prevention and treatment of obesity and severe obesity. Our first issue will launch in January 2014 and will contain brief reports, notices and announcements, material relevant to the multiple fields of obesity, the annual meeting, etc., with benefit to CABPS.
We invite your participation to support this magazine by submitting articles, reports or ongoing research, pertinent to obesity in a Canadian setting to publish in this magazine. If you are interested in submitting material for the publication, please send an electronic version in Word to the attention of Melonie Hart, Director of Operations, at the CABPS office to <cabps@associationconcepts.ca>. We ask that you choose 550 words or fewer for one page or 1,100 words for two pages. Acceptable photo formats are TIF, JPEG, PNG, PSD and PDF and should also be sent electronically.
