The Role of Nutrition and Activity in Managing Stress

Dr. Taline Zourikian is a practicing physician in the department of psychiatry of the Cité-de-la-Santé Hospital, affiliated with University of Montreal, where she holds a clinical teaching position. She is principally a member of the psychiatric consultation-liaison team, focusing on the bidirectional impacts of mental health on physical health. She also works at the operational stress injuries clinic of St-Anne’s Veterans’ Hospital where she focuses on the treatment of PTSD in veterans. She is currently enrolled in the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, Integrative Psychiatry Fellowship Program, which teaches a body-mind-lifestyle approach to the diagnosis and treatment of mental health problems. She is passionate about this approach which she incorporates in her clinical work, teaching, and discussions with family doctors.
