Dr Mario Masrur is a Bariatric Surgeon, Co-Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program, Fellowship and Residency Program at University of Illinois at Chicago, who Specialized in MIS and Bariatric Surgery. He had completed Full training in Robotic Surgery during his Clinical fellowship at UIC. He’s been in a busy academic practice for the last 7 years performing advanced Bariatric and Foregut cases. Part of his academic work include authoring of over 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 10 book chapters in the fields of Bariatric and Robotic Surgery. He is actively involved in training of Robotic Surgery for Residents and Surgeons from all over the world.
