Dr. Jesse Bittman is a General Internist at the University of British Columbia, where he also completed his medical school and internal medicine residency.  Dr. Bittman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and AHSCP Certified Hypertension Specialist. He currently practices in obesity and hypertension at Revolution Medical Clinic and St. Paul’s Hospital. In addition to a strong clinical background, Dr. Bittman is currently involved in research focused impact of aggressive lifestyle intervention in people with atrial fibrillation. Dr. Bittman has been invited to speak to diverse multidisciplinary audiences on obesity medicine, weight bias and hypertension.  

Presentation Overview:

This last year has brought significant developments in medical treatment of obesity.  We will review these studies and how they fit into the recently published obesity guidelines.
