Debbie Burgess graduated from Lakehead University in 2005 with an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, became certified with the American College of Sport Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Specialist in 2011 and is a member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association. Debbie has worked three years in a physiotherapy clinic as a Kinesiologist and three years as an Exercise Therapist in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Debbie presently works as a Kinesiologist at the Regional Bariatric Clinic in Thunder Bay, Ontario as part of a multidisciplinary team.  She is involved in pre and post-surgical exercise rehabilitation, lifestyle education and medical weight management.
