Mr. Arindam Ghosh

Dr. Ghosh, an economist with expertise in applied microeconomics and econometrics, has consulted clients in a variety of industries, including computer software, semiconductor, mutual funds, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals. He has led and managed teams in providing support to counsel and assisting expert witnesses in a number of antitrust litigations involving issues of overcharge, price fixing, product bundling, and market definition. Dr. Ghosh has significant experience with mass-tort and product liability cases providing support to counsel and assisting expert witnesses with analysis of clinical trial and observational data.  He has also worked extensively on various matters involving mutual funds and has led teams in support of numerous experts in analyzing the degree of competitiveness and existence of scale in the mutual fund industry.  Dr. Ghosh is experienced in providing support to counsel in all stages of litigation: from understanding plaintiffs’ claims and identifying experts to providing support for pretrial motion, deposition, and trial. He has also consulted to pharmaceutical companies and has published several abstracts for medical and pharmacoeconomic meetings. Dr. Ghosh’s research in pharmacoeconomics has focused on measuring the costs and cost-effectiveness of treatments for dermatitis and morbidly obese patients. Before joining Analysis Group, Dr. Ghosh worked in the transportation practice at Charles River Associates.  His dissertation research on highway congestion pricing has been published in a leading academic journal.
